I love Danny Gregory's approach: I live in Italy and I usually end up drawing things that could be anywhere: these are comfortable shoes and that's how I think about drawing : do I draw people? ... mmm . . . no. landscapes? mmmm .... no ...everyday stuff? definitely. That's not to say I'm not prepared to try different things: having been brought up at at time when people were seen as those who could draw and those who couldn't (i.e. me) it's been a pretty uncomfortable but satisfying leap to get stuff published.
